Make a difference with our NEW volunteer opportunity-- Nature Champions! This opportunity welcomes walk-up volunteers of at least 15 years old!

All individuals are subject to read, acknowledge and sign volunteer waiver onsite at the beginning of each volunteer day.

When: Dates and times vary.

What: Share your time and talents on a regular basis, as your schedule allows, by enhancing the beauty of our local parks in partnership with our Park District staff. Volunteer days for Nature Champions will take place during various times from spring to fall. 

Monday, June 15 at 8:30 am - Rotary Hill near the Carillon

Monday, July 6 at 8:30 am - Frontier Sports Complex near the Rothermel Family Pickleball Courts

Monday, August 17 at 8:30 am - Rotary Hill near the Carillon

Tuesday, September 8 at 8:30 am - Downtown Naperville at the Dandelion Fountain

Monday, September 21 at 8:30 am - Central Park near the American Flag pole

Monday, October 26 at 8:30 am - Riverwalk Grand Pavilion


Adopt A Park, Adopt a Trail and Adopt a Field

Our adopt programs have been developed by the Naperville Park District to recruit and train residents and community members who wish to assist in the general care and maintenance of parks and park amenities on a regular basis.
