Group Volunteer Day
We are thrilled to have your organization volunteer with the Naperville Park District! Corporate, scout troop, schools-- your teamwork will make a great impact to our parks!
A group volunteer day is a one-time volunteer opportunity created exclusively for your organization.
- Volunteer days are between 1.5 to 2 hours long, depending on the task at hand and the size of the group.
- Dates and times are flexible, but will be coordinated between your organization and the Naperville Park District.
- Tasks may include opportunities such as park clean-up, seasonal park maintenance, or unique detailed projects such as removing invasive plants, planting or mulching designated areas.
Occasionally, we need volunteers at larger special events or programs to assist with tasks such as the set-up of tables/chairs, direct parking, lead activities and general event clean-up. Check out the Special Events and Program pages!

Eagle Scout and Girl Scout Gold Award Project
The Naperville Park District will select ten prospective scouts to complete a project from an internal list of project opportunities created by Park District employees. These projects are designed to enhance planning, development, and leadership skills. Scouts should anticipate completing their project within twelve months of submitting their application.
Scouts interested in proposing their own project idea may do so through the application below. However, scouts must understand the Park District has the right to decline any project application submitted and may need additional time to approve unique project ideas.
