Naperville Park District has released its 2019 Annual Report, “Growing Together,” highlighting the growth of recreation opportunities for the community as well as the District’s stewardship and planning that makes this growth possible. The report may be viewed online at https://www.napervilleparks.org/about/finances/annualreport and a limited number of print copies are available at Park District facilities.
A glance through the first section of the report gives readers a quick photo tour of the exciting new developments that began in 2019, including Studio D at Fort Hill Activity Center (which opened in October 2019), Wolf’s Crossing Community Park and Knoch Park athletic fields (both projects currently are under construction), and the 95th Street Community Plaza, which just opened to the public this week.
The financial section of the report explains the Park District’s financial planning and includes a chart showing a five-year overview of the District’s revenue and expenditures. The report also highlights other aspects of the District’s stewardship, including innovation, partnerships, and conserving natural resources.
