Naperville Park District Recognizes Incoming and Outgoing Commissioners

The Naperville Park District Board of Commissioners welcomed newly elected commissioners Rich Janor (incumbent), Chris Jacks and John Risvold and recognized outgoing commissioner Marie Todd at its May 11 meeting at the Fort Hill Activity Center.
Judge John C. Anderson of the 12th Judicial Circuit Court of Will County attended the meeting to administer the oath of office to the incoming commissioners. Commissioners Jacks, Janor and Risvold were elected to office in the April 4, 2023 consolidated election to serve a four-year term on the Park Board.

The three newly elected commissioners join Commissioners Rhonda Ansier, Mary Gibson, Leslie Ruffing, and Alison Thompson, all of whom are serving four-year terms which expire in 2025.
Board President Mary Gibson thanked outgoing commissioner Marie Todd for her 18 years of service on the Board, noting her support and collaboration that helped make possible the District's development and stewardship of many excellent park amenities to meet the needs of our growing community. In addition to presenting Marie with a commemorative photograph of the Riverwalk, the Board approved a resolution on April 27, 2023 to name the future practice facility at Naperbrook Golf Course the Marie Todd Practice Facility.
