Naperville Millennium Carillon Summer Recital Series to Begin June 6

Naperville's Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower will host a 2023 Summer Recital Series on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. from June 6 through August 15. The Carillon has been closed since spring 2021 for the rehabilitation work on Moser Tower by the City of Naperville.

The Summer Recital Series features carillonneurs from around the world as well as local performers and those from other states. These free performances may be heard along the Riverwalk and audiences are welcome to bring folding chairs or blankets to listen to the concerts on Rotary Hill, at the base of the Carillon, located at 443 Aurora Ave. The 2023 schedule is as follows:

June 6 - Tim Sleep, City Carillonneur - Naperville, IL

June 13 - Ben Wasmuth, Carillonneur - Glencoe, IL

June 20 - Wylie Crawford, Carillonneur - Chicago, IL, Naperville, IL and Venice, FL

Saturday, June 24 - Dina Verheyden, Carillonneur - Belgium

Richard De Waardt, Carillonneur - Netherlands

July 11 - Mathieu Daniel Polak, Carillonneur - Amsterdam, Netherlands

July 18 - Povl Chr. Balslev, City Carillonneur - Svendborg, Denmark

July 25 - Katarzyna Takao-Piastowska, Carillonneur - Germany

August 1- Jon Lehrer, Carillonneur - East Lansing, MI

August 8 - Laura Ellis, Carillonneur - University of Florida

August 15 - Alex Johnson, Carillonneur - University of Chicago
