Élan Dance Company to Present Free Dance Showcase on Friday, May 29

Naperville Park District invites the community to the Élan Dance Company 2026 Showcase on Friday, May 29 at Pfieffer Hall, located at 310 E. Benton Ave. on the campus of North Central College. The performance, scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m., will showcase a mix of dancing styles, including hip hop, jazz and ballet. Tickets for the event are not needed, however, seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Élan Dance Company provides quality dance training and a foundation in dance performance. Élan participants work to improve their techniques while learning important teamwork skills, gaining experience participating in a dance company, and having fun. Élan Dance Company offers a competitive team and a performance-only team, and both companies participate in several performances throughout the year, with the competitive team also participating in dance competitions.

For dancers seeking to be a part of the company, auditions for the Élan Dance Company’s 2026-2027 season will be held Tuesday, May 26 at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, located at 305 W. Jackson Ave., in Community Hall. Auditions are from 4:30-8:00 p.m. for dancers ages 6-18. Audition times depend on age. Dancers must be 6 years old by September 1, 2026 to audition. Registration is required to attend auditions along with the payment of a $10 fee.
