Springbrook Golf Course Hosts 2026 Women’s Invitational

Local women golfers gathered at Springbrook Golf Course on Monday, August 10 for friendly competition at the 2026 Springbrook Women’s Invitational, with lunch provided by McAlister’s Deli. This event is a continuation of the 2026 Brooks Tournament Series, presented by Woody Buick GMC. Women amateur golfers partnered up and were divided into four flights based on their handicap. The winners were determined by the lowest gross score and the lowest net score. The top teams of each flight are as follows:

Caterina Calabrai from Westchester and Madison Place were declared the champions of the tournament after earning a gross score of 70. Additionally, Mary Carole Prasse of Naperville and Sun Rupp of Plainfield won Flight 2 in both gross score and net score. Karen Steinke and Marilyn Roberto of Naperville also won Flight 3 in both categories.
