Residents Invited to Comment Online Regarding Proposed 2026 Naperville Park District Capital Improvement Projects

As a part of its annual budget process, the Naperville Park District invites the community to view information regarding high profile capital improvement projects proposed for development in 2026. This “virtual open house,” can be found at napervilleparks.org/parkandfacilityimprovements from Wednesday, July 16 until noon on Wednesday, July 30. Residents are encouraged to view the list of proposed capital improvements and submit comments or questions via online questionnaires on our website.

It is important to note that detailed designs for the 2026 projects have not yet been developed. This is an opportunity for residents to provide their input prior to the design phase. Any community feedback received will be taken into consideration by Park District staff when formulating project designs and cost estimates for inclusion in the 2026 Capital Budget.

The following is a list of capital improvement projects proposed for 2026:

• Apache Park, 1567 Apache Drive – Playground Renovation
• Burr Oak, 432 Villa Avenue – Playground Renovation
• Fox Hill Greens, 1635 Brookdale Road – Playground Renovation
• Knoch Park, 724 S. West Street – Playground Renovation
• Queensbury Greens, 1520 Brookdale Road – Playground Renovation
• Springhill Park, 780 Springhill Circle – Playground Renovation
• Summerfield Lake Park, 2003 Skylane Drive – Pond Dredging and Shoreline Restoration
• Wil-O-Way Park, 1408 W. Jefferson Avenue – Playground Renovation
