Friday, October 13, 2023
Two popular Naperville Park District holiday events, Santa's Naperville Workshop and Santa's Hotline, will begin accepting registration at noon on Tuesday, October 17 for Naperville Park District residents and at noon on Thursday, October 19 for nonresidents.
Santa's Naperville Workshop, presented by Woody Buick/GMC, will be located at the Paddleboat Quarry Rentals building, located on the Riverwalk at 441 Aurora Avenue, from November 27 through December 21. Santa will visit briefly with one family at a time inside the workshop and families are welcome to take their own photos with Santa.
Reservations are required in advance and may be made online at napervilleparks.org/santasworkshop. Fees are $10 per family for residents and $15 per family for nonresidents. When registering, families can choose one of the available time slots; however, please note that Santa will be able to spend no more than 5 minutes with each family. There will be no on-site registration or walk-ups available. As limited spots are available, families are encouraged to register early for this event.
Tuesday, November 28 is Pet Night, Wednesday, November 29 and Thursday, November 30 are reserved for families with special needs, and Wednesday, December 6 is Military and First Responders Night. All other evenings are open for registration for families in the general public.
Santa's Hotline gives families an opportunity to receive a phone call from Santa Claus or Mrs. Claus, who will speak to each child by name, ask for gift ideas and have a magical and memorable conversation. Santa's Hotline calls are free, but registration is required and is per family. Calls will take place Wednesday and Thursday, December 6 and 7 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. Register at www.napervilleparks.org/santashotline.
