Quotes from the Episode:
About why the podcast was born in the first place:
"In 2017, Sameera and I attended a panel discussion in Naperville featuring our local media about ways to tell our story and connect better with the news and our community, and one of the speakers talked about podcasts as a great way to do that. I thought it would be so much fun. We're always looking for new ways to connect with the community. People have so much time in the car or doing things where they could definitely listen to an audio podcast." - Sue
About what makes podcast topics so enjoyable and interesting:
"The one thing I really like about you is you're interested in, not only telling the story, but also weaving in the history. With Naperville being such a historic community with so many different stories to tell, I liked what you've been able to do with that and bring the history to life." - Sameera
About what Sue will miss the most about working for the Naperville Park District:
"I will really miss being a part of such a wonderful team of coworkers who have become my friends after all these years. Everything I've been able to accomplish has been a team effort. Every day, when you come in to work, there's always something funny that happens or somebody to talk with, something to look forward to that we do together. To know the things I've worked hard on matters and the work is appreciated, that has made a big difference." - Sue
