Quotes from the Episode
What makes these programs special?
Most students just find being on the water better than any class they’ve ever done. It’s more calming, soothing and gentle. – Anne Gasperec
There’s such a different feeling from being outside and doing yoga. It’s more freeing, there’s no music you just listen to the birds. You can lie in the sand or the grass – it’s just lovely. – Meg’n Braida
Aspects of the practice that aren’t relevant in an indoor yoga class?
It’s the beauty of the sounds and Mother Nature. We’re able to actually envision that better than an indoor setting. It really does help with that calming effect. – Anne Gasperec
Can someone new to yoga start with Beach or Paddleboard Yoga?
I think it can give them an introduction to yoga that is not high energy. They’ll see people who have been practicing for years and get intimidated. But this is entry level all the way up to wherever you want to take it. – Meg’n Braida
The class is for you. You go to where you’re challenged. That’s the best part about this class because it is a beginners class and you don’t feel pushed to go beyond where you need to push. Again, we can still alter the class to fit the more experienced yogi. – Anne Gasperec
