Naperville Park District to Host Self-Defense Workshops on June 5th

Who: Naperville Park District is hosting two personal safety workshops titled “Real-World Self-Defense” – presented by RJM Strategy Group. Former Park District Executive Director and president of RJM Strategy Group Ray McGury will lead both sessions.

What: The workshop is designed to give attendees the knowledge and skills to protect themselves in uncertain situations. Teens and adults of all ages will have the opportunity to learn and practice basic self-defense skills that can be used right away.

When: The workshop will take place on Thursday, June 5. Two sessions are offered: 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Spots are limited; register at www.napervilleparks.org. Cost to attend is $25/person (resident); $37.50 (nonresident).

Where: Both sessions will take place at Fort Hill Activity Center, located at 20 Fort Hill Drive.
