Naperville Park District to Celebrate Newly Renovated Playground at Meadow Glens

The Naperville Park District invites the community to the reopening of the newly renovated playground at Meadow Glens, located at 1303 Muirhead Avenue, on Tuesday, September 23 at 5:00 p.m. The new playground equipment includes a 360 Loop with a ramp and slide, musical chimes and an accessible, universal swing. Additionally, the outdoor fitness stations located throughout Meadow Glens were renovated. The improvements include equipment with adjustable weight, suspension training, kettle bells and two recumbent bikes located near the playground area.

Funding for these renovations was allocated in the Illinois state budget and will be provided through a state grant supported by Illinois State Representative Anne Stava. The Representative supported grant funding for playground renovations at Hobson Grove in 2023. The Naperville Park District is grateful for Representative Stava’s continued support of the Park District and these amenities that are fundamental to residents’ enjoyment of recreation.

Following the ribbon-cutting ceremony, attendees are welcome to explore the playground’s new features in addition to the new fitness stations, and enjoy light refreshments provided by the Park District.
