Naperville Park District’s Summer Slam All-City Tennis Tournament Set for July 18

Tennis players of all ages are invited to participate in the Summer Slam All-City Tennis Tournament on Friday, July 18. Registration for the event closes on Friday, July 11.
Participants will compete in multiple matches in a round-robin format over several hours of play. Youth players aged 6-18 years old will be divided by age group and play singles matches. Youth matches will be played at Knoch Park tennis courts, located at 724 S. West Street, and Naperville North High School, located at 899 N Mill Street. Start time and location will depend on age groups. Adults will play doubles matches at Nike Sports Complex, located at 288 W Diehl Road, between 6:00-9:30 p.m. Registration fee is $17/person for residents and $26/person for nonresidents.
Individuals who are new to tennis or simply need a refresher can register for one of the Park District’s weeklong instructional programs, A Taste of Tennis. These camps are designed to teach the foundational skills of the sport to children and adults alike. Weeklong camps are scheduled for June 23, July 7, July 14 and August 4 and registration price varies on camp selection.
