Naperville Park District’s Autumn 2024 Program Guide Available Online July 31

Naperville Park District’s Autumn 2024 Program Guide will be available digitally on the Park District’s website beginning Wednesday, July 31. The Program Guide highlights a variety of programs and special events that will help families and individuals plan for a fun and exciting fall season. The Guide provides information on community events, such as Halloween Happening and Pumpkin Smash, Fall Youth Basketball registration, hayrides, birthday parties, Winter Break Camps and a wide variety of other programs designed for all ages and interests.

The Autumn 2024 Program Guide’s theme is Nurturing Nature, as the Park District celebrates the 10th anniversary of the opening of Knoch Knolls Nature Center. The community is invited to join the anniversary festivities on Saturday, September 28 at the Nature Center, located at 320 Knoch Knolls Rd.

Here are some key autumn registration dates:

  • Registration for autumn programs begins Monday, August 5 at 8:30 a.m. for residents and Thursday, August 8 at 8:30 a.m. for nonresidents.
  • Registration for the fall session of Naperville Youth Basketball begins Tuesday, September 10 at noon for residents and Thursday, September 12 at noon for nonresidents.

Additionally, new programs and events have been added including:

  • Art – Crochet: Beginner; Virtual: Conversational Japanese
  • Science & Technology – Code Ninjas: Minecraft Mastery: Redstone Realm; Block Builders Adventure Camp
  • Events - Barbie love PINK Glam Night (Ages 4-10); We Love Pop Stars Dance Party (Ages 4-10)

Several new, educational Active Adults & Seniors programs have been added as well, such as DuPage County Ombudsman Program, Health and Wellness Management Using Smartwatches, Retirement: More Than Money, and Senior Scams and Cryptocurrency.
