Naperville Park District Updating its ADA Transition Plan in 2025

The Naperville Park District will review and update the District’s ADA Transition Plan (ATP) throughout 2025. The intent of the plan is to ensure that accessibility barriers are being addressed across the organization and throughout the parks system.

Originally developed in 1992 in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the Naperville Park District revises the ATP periodically. The plan was last updated in 2014, and the Park District determined it is again time to update the current version. This process will involve extensive community outreach conducted via public open house events and additional online feedback. Residents will be notified of initiative updates and feedback opportunities via the ATP webpage at www.napervilleparks.org/ada and the District’s social media channels.
