Naperville Park District Statement Regarding Centennial Beach

A 27-year-old male was found unconscious in the water at Centennial Beach (500 W. Jackson Avenue, Naperville) around 6:00 pm today, Thursday, July 10, and transported to Endeavor Health Edward Hospital. The Park District has been informed that the individual was pronounced deceased.

Out of respect for the individual’s family and pending further investigation, the Park District will not be providing any further comment.

Centennial Beach will remain closed on Friday, July 11.
