Naperville Park District Recognizes National Sportsmanship Day
Tuesday, March 3, 2026
National Sportsmanship Day 2026 is Tuesday, March 3. It was established by the International Sports Institute in 1991 with the goal of educating athletes, coaches, spectators and referees about the importance of sportsmanship, as well as fostering standards for the current and future generation of athletes. Celebrated annually on the first Tuesday of March, the Naperville Park District reminds the community of the importance of practicing good sportsmanship while highlighting the District's commitment to promoting this key aspect across all of its programs. Everyone is encouraged to demonstrate fair play, good etiquette, and solid character in all youth and adult athletic programs year-round.
