Naperville Park District Offers Seminar for Children’s Health

Tuesday, July 23, 2024

A new fitness program, “Pull-Ups: A Simple Solution for Long Term Health,” will be held on Friday, August 2 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Fort Hill Activity Center. This instructional course will provide parents with the tools and knowledge to assist in their children’s long-term health. Studies show that kids who can perform conventional pull-ups are less likely to develop health complications as they get older, such as type 2 diabetes. Rick Osbourne, M.S. in Physical Education, will lead the program and show parents how simple and easy it is to help kids while they learn how to do pull-ups. Registration is ongoing, and a small fee is required to participate.
