Naperville Park District Celebrates Unplug Illinois from July 11-19

Monday, June 22, 2026

The Naperville Park District and Illinois Park and Recreation Association (IPRA) are celebrating the eighth annual Unplug Illinois Day on Saturday, July 11. Unplug Illinois is a campaign created by IPRA to encourage people across the state to unplug from their electronics and enjoy everything their local park, recreation, and conservation agencies have to offer.

In addition to the statewide initiative, the Park District invites the community to visit select parks and facilities between July 11 and July 19 to engage in fun activities. Participants can visit three of the 15 parks listed and complete the Unplug with the Naperville Park District Check-in Form for a chance to win a $25 Naperville Park District gift card. Information for the weeklong event, including featured parks, activities, and the check-in form, can be found at www.napervilleparks.org/unplugnpd.
