Monday, March 23, 2026
Naperville Youth Soccer (NYS), a Naperville Park District program, kicks off its 50th anniversary this week as practices for the spring soccer season begin. Since 1976, children of all ages have learned the fundamentals of the sport and the importance of sportsmanship through NYS while making lifelong friendships and having fun.
“For five decades, Naperville Youth Soccer has been a cornerstone of the Naperville community, highlighting the lasting impact of youth athletic programs,” said Executive Director Brad Wilson. “We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with players, coaches—past and present—and the broader community throughout the year. We look forward to continuing to grow NYS so future generations can enjoy the game and carry these recreation traditions forward.”
For a limited time, Naperville Youth Soccer 50th anniversary apparel is available to order until Sunday, March 29 at https://nys50thapparel.itemorder.com/shop/home/.
