Naperville Park District Announces Late-Season Hours For Centennial Beach

As fall approaches, Centennial Beach and other summer facilities prepare to switch to their late-season schedules. The beach will be closed for the day on Thursday, August 15. Weekday afternoon swimming will be offered from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 16 and on Monday and Tuesday, August 19 and 20, in addition to regular weekend hours.

The complete end-of-season schedule for Centennial Beach is as follows:

  • August 15: CLOSED
  • August 16: 4:00-7:00 p.m. (Open Swim)
  • August 17: 9:00-10:55 a.m. (Adult Float); 11:00 a.m.-Dusk (Open Swim)
  • August 18: 9:00-10:55 a.m. (Adult Float); 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (Open Swim)
  • August 19 & 20: 4:00-7:00 p.m. (Open Swim)
  • August 24: 9:00-10:55 a.m. (Adult Float); 11:00 a.m.-Dusk (Open Swim)
  • August 25: 9:00-10:55 a.m. (Adult Float); 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (Open Swim)
  • August 26-30: CLOSED
  • August 31: 9:00-10:55 a.m. (Adult Float); 11:00 a.m.-Dusk (Open Swim)
  • September 1: 9:00-10:55 a.m. (Adult Float); 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (Open Swim)
  • September 2: 9:00-10:55 a.m. (Adult Float – members only); 11:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. (Open Swim)

The Paddleboat Quarry will be closed on August 15 and will begin its weekend-only schedule from 10:00 a.m. to dusk. Operations will continue through September as weather and staffing levels permit.

Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower tours will continue its summer Friday-Sunday schedule until August 11. Afterwards, tours will be offered on Saturdays and Sundays only. Tours will continue through the fall as weather and staffing allows.

The Naperville Park District operates two splash pads: one at Wolf’s Crossing Community Park and one at the 95th Street Community Plaza. Both splash pads will maintain daily hours from 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. through Labor Day weekend, afterwards they will be closed.
