Naperville Park District Adds Two New Parks to its System

On Tuesday, May 20, the Naperville City Council approved the resolution authorizing the conveyance of the Polo Club Park and Fairlane Farms Park properties to the Naperville Park District, making them the District’s 139th and 140th parks. Located within the new Polo Club subdivision situated along 119th Street in south Naperville, these neighborhood parks will serve the surrounding residents.

Polo Club Park, located at 5828 Hawkweed Drive, will feature a playground, picnic shelter, site furnishings and landscaping. Fairlane Farms Park, located at 5904 Book Road, will include two natural turf multipurpose fields and two off-street parking lots along with a trail connection.

Construction of the park amenities at Polo Club Park will begin this summer, and the multipurpose fields and parking lots at Fairlane Farms Park are near completion. The Park District anticipates hosting a ribbon-cutting event for both sites later this year.
