Naperville Park Board Approves Updated ADA Transition Plan

During its October 9, 2025 meeting, the Naperville Park District Board of Park Commissioners approved the District’s updated ADA Transition Plan (ATP). Updating the ATP was a major goal for the Park District in 2025 as the plan was last reviewed and revised in 2014. The revised plan will guide the District in prioritizing improvements, allocating funds and executing projects to address accessibility enhancements across the organization. 

Updating the plan involved gathering community input through public open house events and an online questionnaire, as well as an assessment of existing parks and facilities conducted by ACT Services, Inc. A copy of the updated ADA Transition Plan is posted on the Naperville Park District website at www.napervilleparks.org.
