Naperville Millennium Carillon Summer Recital Series Begins June 4

Naperville's Millenium Carillon in Moser Tower will host the 2024 Summer Recital Series on Tuesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. starting June 4 through August 13, with a Saturday performance on June 22. Audiences are welcome to bring folding chairs and blankets and enjoy the performances from Rotary Hill, located at 443 Aurora Ave., or while strolling on the Riverwalk.

The Summer Recital Series features carillonneurs from Europe, local in-state performers and musicians from around the country. Every performance is free to the public and post-recital moonlight carillon tours are available for $2 per person. The 2024 schedule is as follows:

• June 4: Pamela Ruiter-Feenstra - Ann Arbor, Michigan
• June 11: Wim Ruitenbeek - Nijkerk, Netherlands
• June 18: Wylie Crawford - Sarasota, Florida
• June 22: Carson Landry - Orlando, Florida
• July 9: Carol Jickling Lens - Highlands Ranch, Colorado
• July 16: Joanna Stroz - Copenhagen, Denmark
• July 23: Dave Hunsberger - Oakland, California
• July 30: Claire Janezic - Rochester, New York
• August 6: Maragret Pan - Cambridge, Massachusetts
• August 13: Alex Johnson - Chicago, Illinois

The Naperville Park District offers tours of the Millenium Carillon in Moser Tower weekends only starting on Saturday, May 11 before switching to daily tours on Friday, May 31. For more information, visit the Carillon webpage at www.napervilleparks.org/location/millenniumcarillon.
