Naperville Park District to Celebrate the Reopening of the Tall Grass Lakes Playground on June 27

Naperville Park District invites the community to the reopening celebration for the newly renovated playground at Tall Grass Lakes, located at 3320 Rollingridge Road. The event is set for 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27. Neighbors are invited to bring their families and friends to participate in a brief ribbon-cutting ceremony, enjoy refreshments and giveaways, and explore the new play equipment.

In the event of inclement weather, the playground celebration will be rescheduled for 5:00 p.m. on the following day, June 28. Residents can check the Cancellations and Closures tab for the latest updates at https://www.napervilleparks.org/cancellations.

The playground design is based on the input of residents in the Tall Grass Lakes neighborhood who selected their preferred design among several options displayed online. Some of the unique features of this playground include the track ride, the X Climb and the Revolution Spinner.

This is the first of several playground ribbon-cutting events planned for 2023, which will be scheduled as the construction or renovation projects are completed. Playground renovations planned for 2023 include projects at Gartner Park, Hobson Grove, Timber Creek Park and Wil-O-Way Commons.
