Millennium Carillon Recital Series Halfway Through 2024 Summer Schedule

Who: Naperville’s Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower hosts carillonneurs from Europe, Chicago, and across the country to perform free recitals for Naperville residents and visitors.
What: A carillon is a pitched percussion instrument consisting of bells, often in bell towers, played with a keyboard. Performers will play a combination of classical selections, folksongs, and modern music in the carillon style.
When: Recitals are held on Tuesdays starting at 7:00 p.m. The following is the schedule for the remainder of the summer concert season:
- July 9 – Carol Jickling Lens; Highlands Ranch, Colorado
- July 16 – Joanna Stroz; Copenhagen, Denmark
- July 23 – Dave Hunsberger; Oakland, California
- July 30 – Clarie Janezic; Rochester, New York
- August 6 – Margaret Pan; Cambridge, Massachusetts
- August 13 – Alex Johnson; Chicago, Illinois
Where: Carillonneurs will perform from the Millennium Carillon in Moser Tower. Audiences are welcome to bring folding chairs and blankets and enjoy the recitals from Rotary Hill, located at 443 Aurora Ave.
