Kite Fly Set for Sunday, June 2, at Frontier Sports Complex

Who: The community is invited to attend the 17th annual Kity Fly, a free event hosted by the Naperville Park District and presented by The Branch-Naperville Moms. Visually-stunning kites, flown by professional kite enthusiasts from Chicago Kite, will fill the skies for all to enjoy. Two student steel bands from Neuqua Valley High School will provide entertainment with their unique, tropical music from 2:00 p.m.-3:45 p.m.
Event sponsors include The Branch-Naperville Moms, Visit Naperville, LeafGuard, State Farm - Dave Steinbach, Texas Roadhouse, Portillo's, Old National Bank, Great Lakes Credit Union, Oswald's Pharmacy, TR Miller Heading, Cooling & Plumbing, Main Event, Your Story Counseling, Legacy Wellness and Physical Therapy, Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, Advocate Health, Whirlyball, Green State Credit Union, and NEXT Door and Windows. Food trucks on site include Brown's Chicken, Kona Ice, and John's Ribs.
What: Attendees may view kite demonstrations and fly their own kites. Back by popular demand, KidsMatter is returning with Games from Around the World, an educational and fun activity enjoyed by many at the 2023 event. Naperville Park District staff members will have a tent on-site gathering resident input regarding the organization's indoor recreation space needs initiative.
When: The event is set for Sunday, June 2, 2024, from 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Where: The Kite Fly will be held at Frontier Sports Complex, located at 3380 Cedar Glade Drive, south of Neuqua Valley High School.
