Kite Fly Set for June 7 at Frontier Sports Complex

Who: The community is invited to the annual Kite Fly – a free event hosted by the Naperville Park District and presented by The Branch. Kite enthusiasts from Chicago Kite will showcase visually-stunning kites for all to enjoy. Additionally, high-energy music performances will be provided by the Prairie Sky Quintet, Naperville Municipal Big Band’s Big Band Combo, and the Neuqua Valley High School’s Gold and Blue steel bands.

Event sponsors include State Farm – Dave Steinbach, Portillo’s, Green State Credit Union, NEXT Door & Window, UChicago Medicine, Advent Health Bolingbrook, Great Lakes Credit Union, Ezee Fiber, Duly Health and Care, Zirminali Pediatrics, and Naperville Convention and Visitors Bureau. Food trucks on site include Kona Ice and Frosty Dogs.

What: Attendees may fly their own kites or view the magnificent kite demonstrations provided by Chicago Kite. KidsMatter is also returning with Games from Around the World – an interactive activity where families can learn about different cultures throughout the world by playing various games from different countries.

When: The event is set for Sunday, June 7 from 12:00-4:00 p.m.

Where: Kite Fly will be held at Frontier Sports Complex, located at 3380 Cedar Glade Drive.
