Kite Fly Set for June 1 at Frontier Sports Complex

Who: The community is invited to attend the annual Kite Fly – a free event hosted by the Naperville Park District and presented by The Branch – Naperville Moms. Kite enthusiasts from Chicago Kite will showcase visually-stunning kites for all to enjoy. The Prairie Sky Quintet and the Naperville Municipal Big Band will perform live music as well.

Event sponsors include The Branch – Naperville Moms, Green Family Veterinary Practice, Raising Cane’s, Chesterbrook Academy, LeafGuard, Texas Roadhouse, Portillo’s, State Farm – Dave Steinbach, Green State Credit Union, NEXT Door & Window, Advocate Health Care, FirstService Residential, Allstate – Jason Herbers, UChicago Medicine, Emergent Learning, and Great Lakes Credit Union. Food trucks on site include Kona Ice and Frosty Dogs.

What: Attendees may fly kites of their own or view the magnificent kite demonstrations provided by Chicago Kite. Additionally, KidsMatter is returning with Games from Around the World, an educational activity where families can learn about different cultures by playing various games from different countries.

When: The event is set for Sunday, June 1 from 12:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m.

Where: Kite Fly will be held at Frontier Sports Complex, located at 3380 Cedar Glade Drive, south of Neuqua Valley High School.
