Monday, August 19, 2024

The Fort Hill Wellness Series will present its next topic, “Healthy Sleep and Obstructive Sleep Apnea” on Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30 p.m. at Fort Hill Activity Center, located at 20 Fort Hill Drive. Advocate Good Samaritan doctors, Dr. Smith and Dr. Sethi, will discuss important topics on sleep, such as untreated sleep apnea, the consequences of leaving it untreated and current and new treatment options for sleep apnea.

Healthy sleep supports proper brain function and improves overall physical health. A good night’s sleep can strengthen the immune system, help maintain a healthy weight, improve long-term memory, lower the risk of serious health issues, and more.

This presentation is for individuals ages 15 and older. Attendees need to register through the Naperville Park District. The seminar is free for Fort Hill Fitness members, but members must register in person at Fort Hill Activity Center or by phone at 630-995-8900. Nonmembers need to register online at www.napervilleparks.org.
