2025 Senior Partner Championship Held at Springbrook Golf Course

Senior golfers enjoyed friendly competition at Springbrook Golf Course, located at 2220 W. 83rd St, on Wednesday, September 17 for the 2025 Senior Partner Championship. This event is a continuation of the 2025 Brooks Tournament Series presented by Woody Buick GMC. 140 golfers, ages 55 or older, partnered up for an 18-Hole Best-Ball competition. The lowest gross and net team scores were declared the winners of their grouping. Below are the champions of the gross and net flights:

Net Champion Bill Christenson & Dean Bass 64

Greg Waite (Naperville) and Ron Devitt (Addison) were the champions of the gross flight, with a gross score of 69. In the net flight, Bill Christenson (Darien) and Dean Bass (Homer Glen) won a 5-way tiebreaker in a scorecard playoff with a net score of 64.

“The senior partner championship is one of our most popular events on our tournament calendar,” said Springbrook Head Golf Professional Mike Lyzun. “The format of this event provides for great competition and allows players with little tournament experience to dip their feet in the water.”
