Job seekers will have the opportunity to connect with representatives from Naperville area businesses and the Naperville Park District at the 2025 Community Job Fair immediately following the holidays. The Job Fair, co-hosted by Naperville Park District and KidsMatter, will take place on Saturday, January 4 from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at Fort Hill Activity Center, located at 20 Fort Hill Drive. This is a free event and is intended for a range of job seekers, from high school students (ages 15 and up) to senior adults.

“In addition to speaking directly with hiring managers, attendees will have the opportunity to get their resume reviewed, participate in mock interviews, receive information on financial literacy and visit with industry experts,” explained Nina Menis, CEO and Executive Director of KidsMatter.

“We encourage high school and college students seeking summer jobs or internships to mark their calendars for this event,” said Katie Sepe, Director of Human Resources for the Naperville Park District. “The Community Job Fair is a great opportunity for students to plan their summer employment before the end of winter break.”

Additionally, the 2025 Community Job Fair will include employment opportunities for retirees and other adults seeking part-time work. For example, the Naperville Park District offers park maintenance and golf course maintenance positions which are ideal for retirees looking for a flexible schedule. Positions at Fort Hill Activity Center and in recreation programs often have flexible daytime schedules as well.

Area businesses interested in participating in the event may contact Sherilyn Hebel for more information at sherilyn@kidsmatter2us.org.
