Upcoming Improvements/Construction

The Naperville Park District conducted a virtual community outreach initiative to inform residents about improvements proposed for 2025. The letter below outlined a project proposed at Old Farm Greenway.

The shoreline of the creek running through the greenway is not healthy and it’s eroding into the waterway. To improve this natural aspect, invasive plant material, including trees, will be removed. Additionally, the slopes will be stabilized, and native vegetation planted to anchor the shoreline soil in place.
