2025 Costume Guidelines for Halloween Happening

Halloween Happening was created with children ages 10 and under in mind. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for our youngest participants, we ask attendees to follow the costume guidelines below. The Naperville Park District reserves the right to deny admission or remove any person from the event who does not adhere to the guidelines.

  • Costumes must be family-friendly and cannot offend community standards for lewdness or obscenity.
  • Costume masks must allow for clear peripheral vision and have openings so the eyes can be fully seen.
  • Costume props or accessories that resemble or could be mistaken for real weapons are not permitted.
