Free Terrific Turkeys Days

Did you know we have wild turkeys living in our area? Learn about these native wild birds with a fun craft and hands-on activities. Find out about wattles, snoods and beards, gobble like a turkey, play turkey games, touch turkey feathers, read books about turkeys and more!

• Free, drop-in program
• Self-guided activity stations
• Designed for ages 4-10 but all are welcome
• No registration required
• At least one adult must attend with each family
• Located in the River Room (Classroom)
  • Saturday, 9:30 am - 2:30 pm
  • Monday - Wednesday, 9 am - 12:30 pm & 2 pm - 4 pm
• No live animals will be present
