Nature Discovery Days - Butterflies & Bees

Scientists estimate that there are more than 200 million insects for every human on the planet! Butterflies and bees, along with wasps, beetles and even flies, perform essential jobs for us each day. Learn about pollination and pollinators through games, hands-on activities and crafts! Program does not include any live pollinators.

• Designed for families with children ages 4-10, but all ages welcome. This program, in particular, offers resources on pollinator habitats and native plants.
• Free drop-in program
• Self-guided activity stations
• No registration required
• At least one adult must attend with each family
• Located in the River Room (classroom)
  • Monday - Friday, 9 am - 12:30 pm & 2 pm - 4 pm
  • Saturday, 9 am - 3 pm
