Reptiles are amazing animals that live in all sorts of habitats. Local reptiles include numerous types of snakes and turtles. Illinois also has 8 different types of lizards, most of which live further south or along major riverways. And of course this group of animals includes large crocodiles and alligators, found in the southern U.S. Learn about these scaly-skinned, cold-blooded critters with fun, family-oriented activities, crafts, books and more. Please note: No live animals will be present during this program.

• Designed for families with children ages 4-10, but all ages welcome.
• Free drop-in program
• Self-guided activity stations
• No registration required
• At least one adult must attend with each family
• Located in the River Room (classroom)
  • Monday - Friday, 9 am - 12:30 pm
  • Saturday, 9 am - 2:30 pm
