Naperville Park District Reminds Community that Graffiti is Vandalism
Thursday, August 27, 2026
The Naperville Park District reminds the community and visitors that graffiti on Park District properties is vandalism and a direct violation of its Ordinance 641. Penalties may include fines, suspension from Naperville Park District properties, and restitution paid to the District for costs incurred from repairs. Labor spent removing graffiti can take away resources meant for maintaining public parks and amenities. The Park District urges residents to work together to keep Naperville’s parks and facilities beautiful. If you see graffiti or other issues on Park District property, please use the District’s online maintenance reporting tool at www.napervilleparks.org/maintenancematters. For serious park and facility issues, contact Park Police at 630-601-0925. For emergencies, always dial 911.
