2026 Naperville Junior Amateur Championship Held at Naperbrook Golf Course

Naperbrook Golf Course hosted youth golfers on Monday, July 6 at the 2026 Naperville Junior Amateur Championship. This outing is a part of the 2026 Brooks Tournament Series presented by Woody Buick GMC. Junior golfers 9-17 years old were divided into different flights based on age and gender. The winners of each flight are as follows:

The A-Flight champion, Chase Buettner from Bolingbrook, finished with a 2-over par 74, just beating out Naperville native Logan Shapiro. Suchen Liu of Naperville, the champion of B-Flight, finished with a score of 85, six shots over the second place golfer.

“Despite all the rain we’ve had the past few days, the sun was shining on Naperbrook,” said Naperbrook Head Golf Professional Joel Wallin. “Thank you to the Naperbrook grounds staff for preparing the golf course after a difficult weekend of weather, and a big shout out to the parent volunteers who helped with scoring. This tournament wouldn’t run without you!”

The next event of the 2026 Brooks Tournament Series is the Naperville Men’s Amateur Championship at Naperbrook and Springbrook Golf Courses on Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19. Registration for the event is in progress at www.golfnaperville.org.
